Gothic Halloween Costumes For Teens
When I was first asked by a group of teenage girls to find some really Goth costumes for Halloween this year, I wasn’t really sure what Goth meant to them. I always considered goth or gothic, Gothdom, gothik etc. to be primarily a fashion statement that centered around black clothes, black lipstick, eyeliner, nail polish etc.

It seems however, that there are no official rules as to what is or is not Gothic.
For instance, some consider the Vampire subculture to be Gothic, but there are those who claim they are Gothic that will have nothing to do with vampires or any kind of interest in death or the afterlife
But in the main stream and the media, Vampires are considered very much to be a Gothic scene. Any way you look at it, you can be a hot, goth chick in this sexy vampire costume. If you are truly into the Goth Scene, you will have your own views of what is representative of your lifestyle. I am merely trying to accomodate those that would like to experience some of the lifestyle for themselves.

This costume seems to be a combination of the naughty school girl look – notice the white stockings and the black patent leather shoes, and a vampire/goth look.
This definitely has an anti-establishment look to it as she defiantly glares at an unseen parent, teacher or other authority figure.
She is a Bat Girl from the Mayhem Mansion. There are quite a few Halloween costume available from the Mayhem Mansion collection, so this would make an ideal costume to wear along with a large group of your friends to a gothic themed Halloween party. Go ahead, Halloween is the perfect time for you to try out that Gothic look you have always been curious about.

I really like this look. It combines a tattooed look with a studded collar. Most of the costume has a black or dark overtone to it and the underlying look is very pale.
Whether of not this is officially goth, I’ll leave up to the Supreme Judge of all things Gothic, but I think you could make a fairly legitimate claim to being goth, at least for Halloween costume purposes, if you put together a costume like this.
